Do you have tweens or teens who are interested in action and adventure movies--or fans of the Harry Potter movie series? Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is now on blu-ray and DVD in stores everywhere.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters Movie Synopsis:
Teenager Percy Jackson is the son of the Greek god Poseidon, who is about to embark on an epic, cross-country adventure! United with his demigod friends, they journey into the treacherous Sea of Monsters, where they will battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and a dark, evil force. With time working against him, Percy must find and bring home the fabled Golden Fleece, which has the power to save his world! Oh, I forgot to mention that the Golden Fleece is located in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle!
To find out what happens next, join Percy Jackson on a magical, mythical adventure in this heroic, action-packed thrill ride!

Some of its elements from Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, including the flying taxi, remind me of magical scenes in Harry Potter--and I believe that Harry Potter fans will enjoy it very much. The best viewing ages for the movie would be ages 7 (with parental guidance) to 14-years old. My older kids enjoyed the movie very much and would recommend it to other tweens or early teens.
