Summer Camp Savings, Save $30! Toronto / GTA - STEM, Sports, Swim, Soccer

Toronto & GTA Summer Camps: Save $30 With Code SNYMED
School's almost out, and it's absolutely time to register for summer camp now if you haven't already.  In many cases it's already too late, as camps fill up early.  But TAC Sports summer camps in Toronto and the GTA, still have spaces available!  This will be the 4th year, that all 5 of my kids have attended the camp.  TAC Sports offers choices of a STEM camp (Lifetime Skills Academy - LSA), sports camp, swim camp & soccer academy camp.  You get to pick which camp.
My Kids Have Attended TAC Sports Camps for the Past 4 Years
I recommend TAC Sports camps, because kids learn new skills (or build on an existing one), revel in summer days outdoors if the weather is good (they do come inside if it rains), make new friends, and have a blast with their coaches.  The best part for me is that the kids stay active, and steer clear from electronic devices.
My Kids Having Fun With Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
If you're new to TAC camps, you should know that the camp takes good care of kids and keeps them safe. My youngest child was 5-years old when he started attending, and he did great there!  It was amazing to me how quickly my kids learned to play soccer, basketball, and tennis!  My kids also learned mixed martial arts (MMA), and my daughter a few dance numbers. By the end of it, my kids looked healthy and had thinned out from the daily exercise.
Focused on Soccer
Along with their TAC Sports camp, TAC also offers Lifetime Skills Academy (LSA), TAC Swim School & TAC Soccer Academy (from TAC soccer training, my middle son went on to be recruited into Rep Soccer). More details of each programme are below.

The Incredibles 2 Movie In Theatres June 15 & Advance Movie Screening Tickets Giveaway!

The Incredibles II Movie
In Theatres June 15, 2018!
Has it really been 14 years since Disney Pixar's The Incredibles was launched?  It seems like we've been waiting forever!  Disney Pixar films include some of my favourite ones, including the Cars franchise, Up, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille and Brave.  One of the reasons I love Disney Pixar films, is that they're enjoyable for me to watch as a parent--not only something that has to be endured.

Now with The Incredibles Two being launched this month, I have great expectations--actually huge expectations.  With a wait as long as I've survived, I'm expecting a spectacular film--a film to rival the incredible The Incredibles movie of 2004.  And are my expectations unrealistic, given the gargantuan wait?
The Incredibles Are Back In Action!
My logic is simple: the longer the wait, the longer Disney Pixar has had to work on storyline, the animation, voice acting, etc.  14 years is a long time to get it right.  If it was unclear whatsoever, I'm expecting The Incredibles 2 to be a masterpiece to rival all Disney Pixar masterpieces!  I'll have to wait till June 15th, however, to see if my expectations align with the actual The Incredibles 2 movie.  How do you anticipate the movie will be?  Check The Incredibles 2 movie trailer, below to weigh in!

The Incredibles 2 movie trailer:

The Incredibles II Movie Synopsis:
"In Incredibles 2, Helen (voiced by Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible."

CONTEST (CANADA)

Summer Camp 2018, Save $30 NOW! Toronto & GTA - Sports, Swim, Soccer or STEM

Summer Camps: Swimming, Sports, Soccer or STEM
TAC Sports in Toronto & GTA

With 5 kids to send to summer camp, I'm planning now before school is over! For the past 4 years, my kids have attended TAC Sports summer camps in Toronto and the GTA. They offer choices of a sports camp, swim camp, soccer academy camp & STEM camp. I would recommend the camps because the kids learn new skills (or improve an existing one), enjoy summer days outdoors if the weather is good (they go inside if it rains), make new friends, and have fun with their instructors. I love that they stay active and have a break from electronic devices.

My kids ranged from 5- to 10-years old when they first started TAC Sports camp. The camp took good care of them and kept them safe. But they also came home knowing how to play soccer, tennis and basketball well! All kids had developped well in mixed martial arts (MMA), and one had learned a few dance routines. By the end of the summer they had a healthy tan, and all looked like they had leaned up a bit.
Along with their TAC Sports camp, TAC also offers TAC Swim School, TAC Soccer Academy & Lifetime Skills Academy (LSA). More details of each programme are below.

March Break & Summer Camps at TAC Sports! (Toronto/GTA)

TAC Sports Summer Camps & March Break Camps
Toronto & the GTA
For the past 3 years in a row, my 5 kids have attended TAC Sports summer camps.  (TAC stands for Toronto Athletic Camps.)  What I've liked about TAC Sports is: the kids stay fit and active, learn a new sports/build on an existing sport, spend days outdoors (they go indoors if it rains), the kids and counsellors are great, and the camp is the "right" size--not too big and not too small.

TAC also got my middle son interested in soccer, and he has gone on to play years of rep soccer as a result.  This year TAC celebrates the opening of their eighth camp location, in Richmond Hill!

Wonder Movie Comes to Blu-ray & Contest!

Wonder Comes to Blu-Ray February 13th, 2018!
Fitting in at school is hard enough with cliques and bullies. Now imagine trying to fit in with a facial difference. This is the premise of the movie Wonder, based on the New York Times best-selling novel by R.J. Palacio. Starring Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay and Owen Wilson, the movie has received excellent reviews.  Wonder comes to blu-ray on February 13th, and is perfect for family movie night!

Movie synopsis:
"Wonder is the inspirational and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a (fictitious) boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time."

This is a movie that my 11-year old daughter is dying to see on blu-ray.  She owns the Wonder book, and has reread it about five times over the last year.  All of her friends have also loved the book, and say that the movie version of Wonder is really good.

VIDEO: Watch the Wonder movie trailer, below:
