March Break & Summer Camps at TAC Sports! (Toronto/GTA)

TAC Sports Summer Camps & March Break Camps
Toronto & the GTA
For the past 3 years in a row, my 5 kids have attended TAC Sports summer camps.  (TAC stands for Toronto Athletic Camps.)  What I've liked about TAC Sports is: the kids stay fit and active, learn a new sports/build on an existing sport, spend days outdoors (they go indoors if it rains), the kids and counsellors are great, and the camp is the "right" size--not too big and not too small.

TAC also got my middle son interested in soccer, and he has gone on to play years of rep soccer as a result.  This year TAC celebrates the opening of their eighth camp location, in Richmond Hill!

Wonder Movie Comes to Blu-ray & Contest!

Wonder Comes to Blu-Ray February 13th, 2018!
Fitting in at school is hard enough with cliques and bullies. Now imagine trying to fit in with a facial difference. This is the premise of the movie Wonder, based on the New York Times best-selling novel by R.J. Palacio. Starring Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay and Owen Wilson, the movie has received excellent reviews.  Wonder comes to blu-ray on February 13th, and is perfect for family movie night!

Movie synopsis:
"Wonder is the inspirational and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a (fictitious) boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time."

This is a movie that my 11-year old daughter is dying to see on blu-ray.  She owns the Wonder book, and has reread it about five times over the last year.  All of her friends have also loved the book, and say that the movie version of Wonder is really good.
